Circle Lens - Bigger Eyes

So far, I've tried the Freshkon Alluring Eyes - Mystical Black, the Dueba - Dolly Black, the ColorVue - Natural, Tutti Circle - Violet, GNG - BT series, Ifax series - black and brown.

Although the lenses are 1 year disposable but really, they only last up to 3 - 4 months maximum - that is if you wear them almost everyday. My first week of wearing them was totally uncomfortable, but my second and so on were getting better and better.

I usually get my lenses at www.softlenseye.com . They're not from the States but shipped from Malaysia though. I have ordered from them a year now and I've never had any problems with them at all. The business is very good and ethical. They will give you your money back if you're not satisfy. You can tell that they really care about the packing and shipping, it is always registerred mail and always packed firm and tightly in a way that there would any possible harm to your products. Great service and fast international shipping! I'm not trying to sell.... by the way. I just thought this is a great website to get your lenses at and everybody should know about it; and they're CHEAPER than most of other websites too. I did my research!

I also got some of my lenses from www.ebeautyna.com . But you sometimes you have to pre-order. The lens are shipped from Korea so you have to wait for your order along with other orders too. That can take a long time. I ordered from them 3 times and twice they're always out of the power that I wanted to. They emailed to let me know but then like the next day they would still ship it... (wtf???) They didn't wait for your reply... pissed me off!!! But for the price overall, they offer a good deal too.




FRESHKON Alluring Eyes



These were my first time "big-eyes" lens. At first, they felt very uncomfortable. I have a medium-eye size. Because the diameter of these are 14.2, I thought that they weren't gonna fit me but you know what, I just tried them on again after a few months of using other lenses with smaller diameter of 14.0; they fit me just fine. They were in fact VERY comfortable compare to other lenses. They're much softer and looking more natural than other "big-eyes" lenses. They have higher percentage of water content than any other lenses, 55%. They are 3 months disposable. Don't think that it's a little use, 3 months are actually the average time of usage for any lenses.

They also have the Winsome Brown, but so far I only tried the Mystical Black and I LoVE them!




GNG Lens


These are the series that I tried after trying the Freshkon Mystical black. They are 1 year disposable, but usually they get torn after 3 - 4 months of usage, if, you use them almost everyday. Unlike the Freshkon, these are only 38% in water content. They feel a little bit thicker than the Freshkon too. Obviously, GNG lens are quite famous amongst the Korean and Japanese stars. They come in lots of color. But I only use the black and brown so far.

The black rim helps enlarge pupil, making eyes appear bigger, brighter and natural. Suitable for users with medium to small eyes.

The double rims help enlarge your eyes giving a watery dreamy look, making them big and doll-like. Suitable with medium to small eyes. Used best with natural make up or no make up. Great for taking pictures as the camera will capture this shade of black, making it more attrative on pictures, gives you more of a brighter and shinier eye-looking. Also, great for wearing at night time since your eyes will pop out even more.

Suitable for medium to big eyes. This gives you a more natural look as this shade is not as dark as the Ifax series. These don't have the rim(s) so it's also suitable for smoky makeup or with makeup. It will help bringing out the eyes more. Not the best for taking pictures or at night time. It doesn't give you a glossy look.




DUEBA Lens

I used the Dolly Black. Unlike other lenses, these are EXTREMELY big and dark. They really give the "dolly" look. But in my opion, they just look too "black" and poped-out that you can instantly tell that your eyes are fake. But yes, if you're searching for the "Ulzzang" kinda look then, this really is one of the right choices.

Like the GNG, these are only 38% water content, but the material is made a little bit differently. They are made of 2-HEMA {2-Hydroxyl ethyl methacrylate}.
Although they are 1 year disposable but unlike others, they last much longer - about 5 - 6months if you use them often.




COLOURVUE Lens

I just bought these. Wore them for only a day. The next day I found out that part of the lens is torn :( They look good I think. They look very natural but dark, big and pretty. It could be because of the manufacture or it could be me. I don't know... but I would give it another try next time. I used the Natural ones. Good choice I think!

These are 45% water content. And made up of 55% terpolymer immersed in sterile buffered saline solution.
When using these, perhaps you need to buy the Saline Solution, not just a regular type of solution.
